Maria-Pau Ginebra gave the inaugural lecture to the 28th edition of the Course "Research Methodology in Periodontics", promoted by the Spanish Society of Periodontics (SEPA) and Dentaid, held in Santiago de Compostela on February 24th.
Newest podcast of the 'Algorrritmes UPC' series delves into the world of bioengineering to discover, with the help of our ERC researchers Cristina Canal and Maria-Pau Ginebra, how new materials can be developed to fight infections, or innovative therapies to treat bone cancer.

Prof. Maria-Pau Ginebra has been nominated as new President of the Research Assessment Committee by AQU Catalunya's Government Council.
Milica Zivanic and Sílvia Gómez, both PhD students at BBT, 1st and 3rd in the "Present your thesis in 4 minutes" UPC competition. Zivanic will represent our university in the final of the competition, which will be held at CaixaFòrum Lleida on June 22nd. Patricia López, who is also a PhD student in our research group, was the winner of the #HiloThesis 2023 and will represent the university at national level.
Two PhD students at BBT, David Piñera and Sílvia Gómez, are currently in two research stays in Glasgow (UK) and Udine (Italy), respectively. On the other hand, the BBT currently hosts two Postdoctoral researchers, María Godoy-Gallardo (UIC, Spain) and Miguel A. Quiliano (UPC, Peru), and a doctoral student, Irene Mallor (UIC), carrying out research stays with different researchers of the group.
