Visit of consellera Gemma Geis

Consellera of Research and Universities, Gemma Geis, paid an institutional visit to the Manresa and Diagonal-Besòs campuses of the UPC on October, 28th. During the visit, she was able to get to know the teaching, research and technology transfer activity of the BBT, among other research groups.

Gemma Geis, cosellera of Research and Universities of the Generalitat de Catalunya, visited the Campus Diagonal Besòs at UPC on October, 28th.

During her visit, consellera Geis together with Secretary General of Research and Universities, Esther Morales, Director General of Universities, Victòria Girona, and First Deputy Mayor of Sant Adrià de Besòs, toured the various buildings and facilities on campus, accompanied by Rector Daniel Crespo, the director of the b_TEC Foundation and manager of the Diagonal-Besòs Campus Consortium, Jordi Bosch, and the director of the EEBE, Adriana Farran, as well as other representatives of the management team, among others Dr. Marta Pegueroles, member of the BBT.

Dr. Cristina Canal was in charge of showing the research and technology transfer activity carried out by our research group, based on the development of biomaterials for the regeneration and / or functional repair of tissues and organs of the human body.
