Daniel Cabrerizo and Sílvia Gómez, both PhD students at BBT, have obtained Fund Seed funding from the Unite! Foundation to implement their project "EmpowerAI: Inclusive pathways to digital learning", together with their partners Yuchen Fan (Politecnico di Torino, IT) and Samuel Grausgruber (TU Graz, DE).

Two PhD students of the, Daniel Cabrerizo and Sílvia Gómez, have secured Unite!  Fund Seed funding to implement their project "EmpowerAI: Inclusive pathways to digital learning".

Last November, Sílvia and Daniel were invited to attend a workshop at  Universität Graz (Austria) on the Unite! Alliance Fund Seed projects, as well as training to participate in the new call. Together with their partners, Yuchen Fan from the Politecnico di Torino (Italy) and Samuel Grausgruber from  TU Graz (Germany), they presented their EmpowerAI proposal, which was one of the winners.

The project, which will begin in October 2025, includes the organization of different workshops with undergraduate students at the different universities of the alliance, with the participation of different experts in the field of AI and new technologies. The ultimate goal of the workshops is to encourage attendees to incorporate AI-based tools into their student life, so that they can help them improve their academic performance.
