Protective medical supplies donation to ICS
The Biomaterials, Biomechanics and Tissue Engineering Research Group, together with other Campus Diagonal Besòs' research groups and EEBE (Barcelona East School of Engineering) have made a donation of protective medical equipment to the ICS (Catalan Health Institute), to help fighting the Coronavirus crisis.
The Biomaterials, Biomechanics and Tissue Engineering Research Group, together with other Campus Diagonal Besòs' research groups and EEBE (Barcelona East School of Engineering) have made a donation of protective medical equipment to the ICS (Catalan Health Institute), to help fighting the Coronavirus crisis.
More specifically, the following items have been donated:
- 26.300 gloves
- 23 masks
- 10 suits
- 14 glasses
With the collaboration of other schools and laboratories, UPC has donated a total of (read a complete article here):
- 78.650 gloves
- 165 FFP2/FFP3 masks
- 150 dust masks
- 40 quirurgic masks
- 5 gas masks
- 3 facial protectors
- 435 suits
- 23 ulleres
- 108 hooves
- 200 hydroalcoholic gel bottles 500ml
