Monthly BBT scientific meetings are back

The BBT has resumed its monthly scientific meetings this week, virtually, with the aim of continuing its research activity.

Last Wednesday, monthly BBT meetings were resumed through an online meeting.

On this occasion, it was the doctoral student Víctor Chausse (thesis director, Marta Pegueroles) who presented his work during the last months, in the field of his doctoral thesis on "Drug-eluting 3D-printed bioresorbable stents with enhanced endothelialisation capability".

These monthly scientific meetings, which have been held at the BBT for more than 15 years, have the dual purpose of:

- Share the research carried out by the different members of the group, and discuss it.

- Give the opportunity, especially to doctoral students, to learn / improve their skills to present their work orally.

During the confinement, and at least until the end of July, bimonthly meetings are scheduled, combining speakers with a scientific background and training in complementary areas, such as a Workshop in Open Science and IP, taught by the EEBE Library, at request of the BBT research group.
