Maria Isabel Castellano's Thesis Dissertation

Maria Isabel Castellanos, a PhD student at the Biomaterials, Biomechanics and Thissue Engineering Research Group at UPC, presented her Doctoral Thesis on May, 5th, at EEBE.

Maria Isabel presented her thesis in "Functionalized CoCr surfaces with adhesive molecules to improve endothelialization", supervised by Dr. Marta Pegueroles and Dr. José María Manero form the BBT, with a jury formed by Dr. Daniel Rodríguez (UPC), Dr. Román Pérez (UIC) and Dr. Salvatore Brugaletta (Hospital Clínic de Barcelona - IDIBAPS).

Dr. Castellanos, granted with a FI research grant by the Government of Catalonia for her Doctorate, is nowadays a Postdoc Fellow at PD Dr. med. Michael Joner's lab, at the Deutsches Herzzentrum München.
