Marc Iglesias presents his Doctoral Thesis

Yesterday, March 4th, Marc Iglesias, a PhD student from the Biomaterials, Biomechanics, and Tissue Engineering Group (BBT) at UPC - EEBE, presented his doctoral thesis.

The now Dr. Iglesias presented his thesis "Fundamentals of Calcium Phosphate Nanotopographies as Antibacterial Surfaces", co-directed by Prof. Maria-Pau Ginebra and Dr. Montserrat Español, before a jury composed of Dr. Daniel Rodríguez, Chair (BBT-UPC), Dr. Edgar B. Montúfar, Secretary (Brno University of Technology) and Dr. Stephen Kelly (Queen's Universitat of Belfast).

Marc Iglesias, who held an FPI Grant from Agencia Estatal de Investigación (AEI) for his doctorate, completed a 6-month research stay at the School of Pharmacy at Queen's University (UK) under the supervision of Prof. Brendan Gilmore.
