Marc Iglesias, Best Oral Presentation Award at Bioceramics 32

Marc Iglesias, PhD student at the BBT research group at UPC, has been awarded the "Best Oral Presentation" Award at Bioceramics 32, the 32nd Symposium and Annual Meeting of ISCM, held in Venice (Italy), from the 20th to the 23rd September, 2022.

BBT's PhD student Marc Iglesias has won the award for Best Oral Presentation during Bioceramics 32, the 32nd Symposium and Annual Meeting of ISCM, held in Venice (Italy), from September 20th to 23rd, 2022.

He received the award in recognition of his presentation "First bactericidal nanopillared topographies in antibiotic-free calcium phosphate biomaterials", a work signed by M. Iglesias-Fernandez, M. Espanol, M.P. Ginebra.

Marc Iglesias is in the third year of his FPI-AEI Scholarship to carry out his doctoral thesis, "Bactericidal properties on calcium phosphate cements", co-directed by Prof. Maria-Pau Ginebra and Dra. Montserrat Español.
