Linh Johansson, Industrial PhD student in collaboration with Mimetis Biomaterials, has been the winner of the Premis Impacte 2022 de Doctorats Industrials, in the Impact on Society Category, with her work on "3D printed personalized bone grafts - Combined benefits in terms of cost, patient, comfort and recovery".

Linh, who is in her third year as an Industrial PhD student with funding from Generalitat de Catalunya, was eligible for the award with her work on "3D printed personalized bone grafts - Combined benefits in terms of cost, patient, comfort and recovery".
The objective of the Premis Impacte 2022 competition is to make visible the impact generated by the collaborative research of the different industrial doctorate projects, bring this research closer to citizens and anticipate future repts of the society and the impact that future research on those topics would generate.
Linh Johansson's doctoral thesis is co-supervised by Prof. Maria-Pau Ginebra (BBT-UPC) and Yago Raymond (Mimetis), alumni of our research group.
