Linh Johansson presents her Doctoral Thesis

Dr. Linh Johansson, Industrial PhD student for 4 years at BBT, in collaboration with the company Mimetis Biomaterials, defends her Doctoral thesis at EEBE.
On May 6h 2024, PhD student Linh Johansson, part of the Biomaterials, Biomechanics and Tissue Engineering Research Group (BBT-UPC), presented her Doctoral Thesis atEEBE. The thesis, carried out as an Industrial PhD (Doctorats Industrials) by Generalitat de Catalunya, is a collaboration with the commercial company Mimetis Biomaterials.
Dr. Johansson presented her thesis "3D printed biomimetic bone grafts: Clinical validation and improvement strategies", co-directed by Prof. Maria-Pau Ginebra (BBT) and Dr. Yago Raymond (alumni of the BBT, and currently a Researcher at Mimetis Biomaterials), in front of a Jury with Dr. Javier Montero Martín (Universidad de Salamanca), Dr. Leon Olde Damink (Matricel, The Netherlands) and Dr. Anna Díez-Escudero (BBT, UPC).
Linh Johansson benefited from an Industrial Doctorate Scholarship by AGAUR to carry out her doctoral thesis.
