Invited Lecture by Prof. Maria-Pau Ginebra at the Scandinavian Society for Biomaterials 2019 Conference

On June 12th, Prof. Maria-Pau Ginebra offered an Invited Talk at the Scandinavian Society for Biomaterials 2019 Conference on "Biomimetic materials for bone", held in Tampere (Norway), from the 12th to the 14th of June, 2019.

This year's theme was centred on the wide range of biomaterial applications, right through from their use for studying fundamental cellular behaviours such as mechanotransduction, through to their clinical applications in regenerative therapies. A broad range of biomaterial topics were covered, including material chemistry, synthesis, engineering, functionalisation and characterisation, as well as exploring their biological interactions and applications in tissue engineering and regenerative medicine.
