III Forum: Entrepreneurial engineers: The opportunity to create economic and social value in health
On December 10th took place the III Forum: Entrepreneurial Engineers: The opportunity to create economic and social value in health, organized by Organized by the College of Graduated Engineers and Industrial Technical Engineers of Barcelona (ENGINYERS BCN), with the collaboration of EEBE.
On December 10 took place at EEBE the III Forum: Entrepreneurial Engineers: The opportunity to create economic and social value in health, organized by ENGINYERS BCN, and with the participation of two BBT members: Dr. Marta Pegueroles and Prof. Maria-Pau Ginebra.
The Forum, framed within the events of the Year of the Biomedical Engineering, has the main objective of promoting the collaboration between healthcare professionals and engineers, while also aims to accelerate the arrival of new devices, biomaterials and diagnostics, thanks to the work and joint effort of these groups.
Dr. Marta Pegueroles, Deputy Director for Promotion and Students at EEBE and member of BBT, and Miquel Darnés, Dean of the College of Graduated Engineers and Industrial Technical Engineers of Barcelona, were responsible for welcoming the event.
Prof. Maria-Pau Ginebra, on the other hand, participated in the Entrepreneurship Roundtable, in her dual role as Director and researcher of BBT and President and co-founder of the spin off Mimetis.
