French visits at the BBT

Students and faculties from Université de Cergy-Pontoise (France) and two researchers from Unviersité d'Orléans (France) visited the BBT in January.

January has been a month full of exciting visits for the BBT, all of them with a French accent.

On January 8, just returning from vacation, we received 7 master's students and 3 researchers (Dr. Pauthe, Dr. Gand and Dr. Boissière) from the teaching staff belonging to the M2 CMI Biosan at  Université de Cergy-Pontoise (France). The group was visiting Barcelona, where they took the opportunity to visit various institutions and research groups. During the time they spent at our facilities, they had the opportunity to have a scientific and educational talk with our Director, Prof. Maria-Pau Ginebra, as well as a tour of our laboratories, on the Diagonal Besòs Campus.

On the other hand, the second week of the month we received Dr. Pablo Escot and Dr. Augusto Stacampiano, from the Université Orléans (France). They both spent a week in the laboratories of the plasma research team in relation to the ERC APACHE: Atmospheric Pressure plAsma meets biomaterials for bone Cancer HEaling. Dr. Escot took the opportunity to give a talk on "The GREMI group and its research" and Dr. Stacampiano presented his work on "Plasma Jets In Interaction With Liquids In The Practical Case Of In Vitro Treatments".
