Dr. António Salgado, PrincipaI Investigator at the Life and Health SciencesResearch Institute (ICVS) and Adjunct Associate Professor in the School of Medicine (University of Minho), visited BBT's facilities on December 10th.

During his visit, Prof. Salgado gave a talk on "Impact of Stem Cells Secretome and Peptide Grafted Hydrogels in CNS Regenerative Medicine" .

António J. Salgado is author of more than 80 papers, has delivered over 40 invited talks and has been able to attract near 1.5M€ through competitive calls and contracts with industry. He has received several distinctions for his work, including the Gulbenkian Award on Cutting Edge Research in Life Sciences and the Prize Melo e Castro for SpinalCord Injury Research..
