The Conference "3D Bioimpression: Are We Close to Personalized Medicine?", at CosmoCaixa Barcelona

On October 20th, Dra. Maria-Pau Ginebra gave a lecture on "3D Bio Impression: Are We Close to Personalized Medicine?" at CosmoCaixa Barcelona, within the cycle "The revolution of 3D printing". During the lecture, Prof. Ginebra had the company of Dr. Felip Fenollosa (Fundació CIM).

With the intention of promoting the research, dissemination and democratization of this technology, technically known as additive manufacturing, CosmoCaixa Barcelona have started a series of conferences on 3D printing (from the 13th to the 27th October) by important specialists in this field in different sectors. These are prestigious professionals in the world of engineering, architecture, food or medicine who present their projects, bets, advances and reflections to show the new applicability and use of 3D printing in our society. .

In this context, Dr. Ginebra presented 3D Printing (or Bioimpression) from the point of view of health and personalized medicine, with examples drawn directly from its research and experience, both in the BBT and in the spin off Mimetis Biomaterials.
