Collaborative project to bring to the market a new generation of customized titanium Bone Grafts, with Reticular and Functionalized structures

The Biomaterials, Biomechanics and Tissue Engineering Research Group, together with the companies AMES PM Tech Center and AMES Medical, as well as the CIM Center Private Foundation, have obtained funding in the "Public-Private Collaboration 2021" call, of the State Program to promote scientific-technical research and its transfer from the State Research Agency (AEI), to carry out the FireBone: Functionalized Inserts Reticular Bone project.

The Biomaterials, Biomechanics and Tissue Engineering Research Group, together with the companies AMES PM Tech Center and AMES Medical, and the Center CIM Private Foundation, have obtained funding to carry out the FireBone: Functionalized Inserts Reticular Bone project.

The objective of this project is to make the process more reliable and ensure the traceability of IORFH, in accordance with the standards of the biomedical sector, as well as to develop reticular structures for porous implants subjected to a mechanical load, in order to maximize the transmission of the load of the implant to the bone and improve its bioregenerative capacities.

This project can be carried out thanks to the funding obtained in the "Colaboración Público-Privada 2021 2021" call, of the State Program to promote scientific and technical research and its transfer by Agencia Estatal de Investigación (AEI).
