PhD student Laia Moliner, who holds a CIBER-BBN predoctoral grant, participated in this year's edition of the Pint of Science 2025 Festival, which was held in Barcelona from May 19 to 21, 2025.

Laia gave an talk on 3D printing of biomaterials, under the title "Bioprinting: a real chapter of Black Mirror?", at Cafeteria La Pau in Barcelona.

Laia Moliner is carrying out her doctoral thesis at BBT, under the supervision of Dr. María Godoy-Gallardo and Dr. Anna Díez-Escudero, with the ambition of developing hydrogels loaded with stimuli-responsive microspheres, a research that is part of the project "DYNAMIC: Dynamic and stimuli-responsive multifunctional biomaterials: addressing cell instructive and antibacterial properties for bone tissue engineering", funded by the AEI.
