BBT becomes a CIBER research group

BBT has joined the Centro de Investigación Biomédica en Red (CIBER), which depends from Instituto de Salud Carlos III, in the area of bioengineering, biomaterials and nanomedicine (CIBER-BBN), after appliying to an open call by ISCIII, in April 2023.

BBT has become part of CIBER - Centro de Investigación Biomédica en Red, which brings together almost 450 research groups and more than 100 consortia institutions, both public and private, from all over Spain. More specifically, BBT will be integrated in the Bioengineering, Biomaterials and Nanomedicine area, better known as CIBER-BBN.

Belonging to CIBER opens the door to working in a network with any of CIBER's groups and technological platforms, as well as the possibility of being able to enjoy specific funding for projects developed within the framework of this consortium, as well as participate both in research programs as in mobility and training programs carried out by CIBER groups. Likewise, it will facilitate the possibility of having direct funding from ISCIII, to which CIBER is attached.
