AMES-UPC Chair in design and innovation of new biomaterials has been renewed for 3 more years

AMES Group and the BBT have agreed to renew the collaboration agreement to continue the AMES-UPC Chair in  design and innovation in new biomaterials. The official signature of the  AMES-UPC Chair, based at EEBE-UPC, was held on July 12th, in the presence of the rector of the UPC, Daniel Crespo, and the general director of AMES Group, César Molins.

The activities of the AMES-UPC Chair, headed by Professor José María Manero, promote training, research, transfer of results and scientific dissemination in the field of additive manufacturing for metal biomaterials. 

AMES Group directs its activity to the analysis, manufacture and sale of synthetic metal components, together with the optimization of treatments and assessment in innovation processes. The entity has consolidated as one of the leading companies in the world in this field, and has recently created a company specifically dedicated to the manufacture and sale of implantable products for traumatology and veterinary medicine, of the instrumental associated with these products, and other biomedical devices: AMES Medical.
