AEI funding to carry out two collaborative projects with companies

BBT has received funding from Agnecia Estatals de Investigación to carry out two projects in collaboration with companies and other universities, thanks to the call PLEC, Proyectos en líneas estrategicas 2022.

The BBT has secured funding to carry out two projects in collaboration with companies and other universities, thanks to the PLEC (Proyectos en líneas estráticas 2022) call by the Agencia Estatal de Investigación (AEI).

On the one hand, Dr. Cristina Canal is coordinator and IP of the Plasma4KidsCancer project: Cold plasma at atmospheric pressure: a physical therapy for the global management of pediatric bone cancer, together with Spanish company Ion Biotech and the Centro Nacional Instituto Nacional de Investigación y Tecnología Agraria y Alimentaria (INIA, CSIC).

On the other hand, Dr. José Manuel García-Torres is coordinator and IP of the 3D-Biomet project: 3D (bio)printing for integrating BIOMimetic Electronics into Engineered Tissues: A giant leap in regenerative medicine, together with the IMEM and EPIC research groups of the UPC, the Institute of Bioengineering of the UIC and the Catalan company IMAZ Technology Innovation.
