BBT researchers and professors Carles Mas-Moruno and Daniel Rodríguez were the visible face of our research group at the 6th Edition of the RE-Search 4 Talent, organized by the Institute of Bioengineering of Catalonia (IBEC), on the 20th May 2020.
The BBT has resumed its monthly scientific meetings this week, virtually, with the aim of continuing its research activity.
Dr. Hakimi and Ginebra (BBT-UPC) and Dr. Krallinger (BSC-CNS) have published a paper in Nature Reviews Materials, encouraging the creation of tools for the development of biomaterials, based on Artificial Intelligence.

The Sant Joan de Déu Research Institute (IRSJD), the only research center in Catalonia focused on research in pediatric medicine, has been recognized as a CERCA center. This recognition involves the development of frontier research for a higher scientific and economic impact and the improvement of social and individual well-being. The BBT is part of the IRSJD through the CREB-UPC, of which it is a member.
