Roberto Fagotto wins the AM CeramYcs Award for Best Oral Presentation 2026

PhD student Roberto Fagotto, co-supervised by Prof. Maria Pau Ginebra and Dr. Anna Díez-Escudero, has won the Best Oral Presentation Award at the Young Ceramists Additive Manufacturing Forum (yCAM) 2026, held at the Jožef Stefan Institute (JSI) in Ljubljana, Slovenia, from May 11th to 13th.
Roberto Fagotto, a student in the Materials Science and Engineering doctoral program, took home the Best Oral Presentation Award at the latest edition of the Young Ceramists Additive Manufacturing Forum (yCAM) 2026, organized by the 'EMC with the support of ECerSand the JECS Trust. The event, an international benchmark for young researchers in ceramic additive manufacturing, took place at the Jožef Stefan Institute (JSI) in Ljubljana, Slovenia.
Fagotto stood out among the participants with his presentation titled "High Resolution Digital Light Processing of Reactive Ceramic–Polymer Scaffolds." This work is the result of his research within the group, under the supervision of Prof. Maria Pau Ginebra and Dr. Anna Díez-Escudero, and focuses on the development of ceramic-polymer scaffolds using Digital Light Processing (DLP).
Roberto attended this Forum thanks to the prize he received as the runner-up in the Students Speech Contest.
